Jeff Kuss joined Next Level Administrators in June of 2023 as President, following a successful tenure as Chief Claims Officer for Employers. With over 25 years of senior leadership experience in the workers compensation insurance industry, Jeff Kuss aims to leverage his knowledge of claims administration to develop operational efficiencies and further support the quality of claims administration provided by NLA.
Jeff is responsible for overseeing all facets of NLA’s operations, building strategic initiatives, and continuing to strengthen relationships with clients and industry partners. Jeff’s extensive knowledge of claims management spans the nation, with a focus on the states of California and Florida.
Amidst NLA’s continual growth, Jeff aims to scale operations effectively by implementing best practices and leveraging technology.

Heidi Sellers joined Sunz in 2015 as an Account Manager and moved to Next Level in 2016.
As the Director of Client Services, Ms. Sellers is responsible for overseeing the Program Management team and working directly with the NLA claims teams to ensure delivery of services and claim outcomes that exceed clients’ expectations. Ms. Sellers provides data analytics, stewardships, and claims metrics to Insureds and Brokers on their programs.
Ms. Sellers has over 20 years of Workers Compensation experience with past roles as Senior Adjuster, Claims Manager, and Account Manager working with large carriers, TPA’s, self-insureds, PEO’s, staffing companies, and FWCIGA. Ms. Sellers has experience in USL&H and managing claims in industries such as construction, hospitals, transportation.
Ms. Sellers has worked as a Florida Workers’ Compensation consultant and has been a speaker at several conferences. Ms. Sellers holds her Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) designation in FL and is licensed in several other jurisdictions.

Andrew Price joined Next Level Administrators in October 2016 as Regional Claims Director, Western Region, bringing over 30 years of claims adjusting, supervision, management and risk management experience to the organization. His vast working knowledge across multiples jurisdictions in the workers compensation area has proven invaluable in supporting NLA’s mission to deliver quality claims administration services.
His past employment includes working for the Texas Legislature and the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation, a third party administrator, and as a risk manager for a Professional Employer Organization. He has experience managing claims in industries such as construction, hospitals, municipalities, transportation, and PEO/Temporary Staffing entities, and is currently responsible for overseeing regional branch operations, directing adjusters in delivering services and claim outcomes that exceed clients’ expectations. Andrew has also served as both a carrier and employer representative in numerous administrative hearings and in Federal and State court proceedings.
Andrew has a degree in Economics from the University of Regis in Denver, Colorado. He has obtained both the Associate of Risk Management (ARM) and Associate of Claims (AIC) designations and has a Texas Workers’ Compensation adjusting license.

Maggie Conatser is the Director of claims with NLA, for the Eastern Region. Ms. Conatser joined NLA in October of 2016 and her role involves the continuation of training, oversight and development of the adjusting staff while collaborating toward the resolution of claims files.
Ms. Conatser has over 30 years of claims experience in various industries including PEO, Risk Management and multi-state claims administration. Prior to joining NLA, Ms. Conatser was the Risk Manager for FICURMA, Inc. and was responsible for managing claims activity for a Risk Retention pool, consisting of 15 private colleges and schools. She has also held various positions with several Large carriers and TPAs to include expertise in handling catastrophic claims, client service management as well as regional claims supervisory experience.
Ms. Conatser is a Certified Litigation Workers’ Compensation Adjuster (CWC & CWCL) and holds licenses in FL and GA. She is also a board member for the Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI) and has been a speaker at the WCI Educational Conference.

Terry Ramano has over 25 years of workers’ compensation experience. For the first part of her career Ms. Ramano worked as a certified legal assistant for a Workers’ Compensation Law Firm before becoming a claims adjuster. Here she gained an extensive skillset in workers’ compensation administration and litigation. Ms. Ramano spent the majority of her career working with PEOs to include developing and overseeing a program for self-administration of claims. Ms. Ramano’s industry experience also includes developing and implementing a Medical Provider Network for self-insured and insured programs to meet and stay in compliance with state requirements.
Ms. Ramano holds her Workers’ Compensation Claims Professional (WCCP), Workers Compensation Claims Association (WCCA) and has earned a Certificate of Achievement as a Self-Insurance Administrator.

Kathy Fortier came aboard with Next Level Administrators in January 2017. As the Director of Compliance responsibilities include oversight of the Compliance team which includes the state and federal reporting compliance, internal audit team, and oversight of the Atlanta based claims adjusting team. She is the liaison for audits performed by regulatory entities, carriers, and SOC audits.
Ms. Fortier has over 35 years of experience in managing Workers’ Compensation in multiple states and Canada. Prior to joining Next Level Administrators, Ms. Fortier was a claims manager for a large self-insured trucking company. She has also held supervisory positions for national carriers and managed claims for large corporations with high self-insured retentions and performance based accounts.
Ms. Fortier is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a BA in History with a minor in Business Administration. Currently, she holds licenses in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Kentucky, Maine, Connecticut, Texas, Louisiana, Alaska and Alabama. She has received designations as an Associate in Risk Management and an Associate in Claims and is a member of the Atlanta Claims Association and the National Association of Professional Women

Carrie Rath joined Next Level Administrators in 2018. As a Senior Program Manager, Ms. Rath is responsible for overseeing the claims programs for clients to maintain communication between the carrier, claims team and employer; ensure compliance and provide data analytics, stewardship and claims metrics.
Ms. Rath has over 20 years of workers’ compensation experience in risk management, claims administration, claims consulting and management. During her career, Ms. Rath has held executive and management positions while working at national Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), national third-party administrators and a carrier working on guarantee cost, self-insured, large deductible and captive workers’ compensation programs.
Ms. Rath has a B.A. in Education and an M.A. in Reading Education, both from University of South Florida, and obtained the Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) designation in Florida.

In her current role as a Program Manager, Ms. Champagne is responsible for overseeing the claims programs for clients to maintain communication between the carrier, claims team, and employers to ensure compliance and provide data analytics, stewardship, and claims metrics.
Ms. Champagne has over 19 years of experience in the Workers’ Compensation industry, working with national carriers, self-insureds, national third-party administrators, and Professional Employer Organizations (PEO’s.)
Ms. Champagne holds an Accredited Claims Adjuster (ACA) designation in Florida.

The recipient of the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses, 1991 Staff Nurse of the Year, which recognizes outstanding practice by a rehabilitation nurse in direct patient care, Robert Seliskar has an extensive clinical background from the Emergency Room, ICU and Rehabilitation, specializing in multi-trauma and neurotrauma. Mr. Seliskar was active in developing brain injury rehabilitation units in central Virginia.
Mr. Seliskar built upon his clinical experience and began a case management business, specializing in medically complex neurological injuries. Mr. Seliskar’s clinical and case management knowledge and skills allowed him to work, for a national health care corporation, at a corporate level teaching and supporting rehabilitation nursing and case management to staff across the country. Upon moving to Florida and prior to joining SUNZ/Next Level, Mr. Seliskar joined a national case management firm, as a trauma specialist. In his role, as the Director of Medical Management with Next Level, Mr. Seliskar provides clinical support to the operations staff, managing medical providers from a clinical perspective and provides input into the anticipated medical treatments for patients with medically complex injuries.
Mr. Seliskar has made over 300 presentations over the last 30 years, covering multiple subjects at conferences such as WCI, state and local conferences of ARN, therapy associations, rehabilitation providers associations and insurance organizations, as well as insurance companies and various health care providers.
